GAS-ENERGIZED LIQUID PUMP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gas-energized liquid pump such as is typically energized by compressed air incorporates a gas-energizing housing and a pumping housing that are interconnected by means of an elongated tubular structural element that enables the gas-energizing housing to be located above the level of a body of liquid while the liquid pumping housing is located in submerged condition within the liquid to be pumped. Rotary impeller elements are utilized both for gas energiza- tion and liquid pumping, and the impeller elements are press fitted to opposed extremities of an elongated drive shaft that extends through the tubular element. Both the gas energization and the pumping housing incorporate integral bearing journals that provide efficient bearing support for rotation of the impellers in driving and driven relation by the elongated shaft.
