PROCESS FOR PREPARING WASTES FOR NON-POLLUTANT DISPOSAL Abstract of the Disclosure A method of disposing of wastes, especially wastes con- taining radioactive or toxic substances, such as the wastes generated in the water associated with nuclear power pro- duction is described. A feature of the invention is to in- corporate the waste into a hardenable setting mass when mixed with water, comprising calcium sulfate hemihydrate, water soluble melamine formaldehyde resin which when cured is hy- drophobic, and a cross-linking agent for curing the resin.
