ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is described a console structure for supporting one or more pieces of equipment, comprising a plurality of horizontally-spaced, vertically upright gable members defining therebetween a cavity within which at least some of the pieces of equipment may be supported, stringer means interconnecting the gable members to provide a self-supporting structure, the stringer means including therein at least one continuous longitudinally extending slot adapted for connection to fastening means joining the stringer means to the gable members,and means for supporting the pieces of equipment within the cavity.
