ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosed holder is used to secure a collapsible umbrella to the top edge portion of an upstanding golf bag. The umbrella, when erected, is adapted to shelter the bag and the clubs projecting from the bag top end, against adverse weather conditions. The holder comprises two relatively-rotatable parts to angularly vary the position of the umbrella relative to the bag between a bag-shelter- ing position, a club-access position and an umbrella- storing portion; the collapsed umbrella then extending along the bag outside.
