ABSTRACT There is provided, in an oscillating harrow including at least two wheels mounted on a transverse frame, and a toothed harrow ring associated with each said wheel, each said ring driven to oscillate by first and second tow lines interconnecting two spaced points on the forward edge of said ring with a respective one of a pair of cranks on said associated one of said wheels, guide means comprising: a lateral extension on each side of said transverse frame to extend said frame transversely beyond said wheels; on respective each sides of each said wheel first and second guide lines, each said guide line extending from a point on a respective one of said lateral extensions or said frame to a point intermediate the ends of a respective first tow line, and each said second guide line extending from a point on a respective one of said lateral extension or to a point intermediate the ends of a respective second tow line. In a further embodiment of the invention, the teeth in each said ring are mounted at an angle to the direction of travel.
