Abstract of the Disclosure A wraparound heat-recoverable sleeve is provided with at least one strip of pigmented adhesive capable of flowing on applica- tion of heat. The pigmented adhesive is placed on the innermost surface of the sleeve directly under the thickest section of the sleeve, e.g. under closure rails of the sleeve. The sleeve is wrap- ped around a substrate and closed by a channel. When heated to effect recovery the sleeve exudes pigmented adhesive, thus indicat- ing that sufficient heat has been applied.
