ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flowerpot having a substantially plane bottom and particularly useful for forcing plants while using automatic watering. The flowerpot comprises at least one liquid inlet for cooperation with a bottom irrigation plant. The inlet is placed at the bottom of the pot and comprises a channel in the underside of the bottom of the pot, opening downwardly. The channel has a top wall above the bottom of the pot and essentially parallel to the bot- tom. The top wall is provided with at least one opening for the passage of water. -13-
