Abstract of the Disclosure: 3,4-DIHYDROBENZOPYRAN COMPOUNDS AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME Novel 3,4-dihydrobenzopyran compounds of the formula: Image (I) wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each hydrogen or nicotinoyl group and at least one of them is nicotinoyl group, m is an integer of 0, 1 or 2, and n is an integer of 0 or 1, are useful for prophylaxis and treatment of hyperlipemia and the compound wherein R1 and R3 are a nicotinoyl group and n is 0 are also effective for prophylaxis and treat- ment of hepatic diseases, and pharmaceutical composition containing said compounds as an active ingredient.
