A DOOR OR LIKE STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME Abstract of the Disclosure An improved combination door 10 of extruded metal tubular construction has a pair of vertical members 12, 14 joined to an upper horizontal head frame member 16 and to a lower horizontal sill member 18, in a novel corner structure which eliminates the usual miter and insert while achieving significantly greater strength at lower cost. The members 16 and 18 are slidably inserted between walls 20 and 22 of the associated vertical members 12 and 14 to abut the web 24 of the latter. The profiled portion 28 designed to accommodate a pane of glass or other material is in the members 12 and 14 cut away to meet orthogonally the profiled portions of the second pair of members. A method of making the door is also dis- closed.
