ABSTRACT In a ramp having a flat upper surface across the width and a bowed or convex upper surface along its length it is known to have raised edges which form a curb on either side to prevent wheeled traffic from running off the edge. In this invention, when in use, the leading edge of the ramp is resting on and can be securred to the receiving surface by means of support lugs. These lugs are attached to the ramp and ensure flush mating and a smooth transition for wheeled traffic from the ramp to the receiving surface and vice versa.
