ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A quick-breaking thermostatic switch is used to keep the temperature of a chamber between two levels, both below zero Centigrade, and also to raise the upper limit temporarily above zero, for a single operating cycle. This switch combines a switch-control level, movement of which is governed by a bellows device containing an expandable fluid, with a second lever, designed to keep the first lever temporarily in a position corresponding to the open position of the switch contacts. Means are provided for this second lever, controlled by a push-button, to return automatically to its starting position, as a result of the thrust exerted by the bellows device, when such thrust reaches a predetermined level.
