MELTING FURNACE Abstract of the Disclosure A furnace for melting metals comprises a refractory-li- ned shell, a crucible, a partition dividing the crucible in- to a melting chamber and an accumulating chamber intercommu- nicating with each other. Mounted inside the melting cham- ber are an intermediate receptacle having a perforated bot- tom and a charge feeding port, and a pump-heater with an outlet metal conduit introduced into the intermediate recep- tacle. Provided in the accumulating chamber are metal deli- very pumps in the form of pump-heaters.
