PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de composés porteurs d'un groupe difluorométhy- lène situé en .alpha. d'un atome d'oxygène. Ce procédé est carac- térisé par le fait qu'on met en contact dans l'acide fluo- rhydrique liquide anhydre, un alcool ou un phénol avec de l'acide trifluoroacétique en présence de trifluorure de bore en quantité telle que la pression absolue de trifluorure de bore soit d'au moins un bar. Les composés obtenus selon l'invention sont utilisés comme intermédiaires de synthèse dans l'industrie pharmaceutique, phytosanitaire, des colorants, comme anesthésiques et comme additifs pour huiles lubrifiantes.
