A benzothiadiazol-cyclopentadithiophene copolymer comprising as repeating unit the group of the formula (I) wherein R is n-hexadecyl or 3,7-dimethyloctyl, and having a number average molecular weight Mn in the range of from 30 to 70 kg/mol is disclosed. The invention also relates to the use of the copolymers as semiconductors or charge transport materials, as thin-film transistors (TFTs), or in semiconductor components for organic light- emitting diodes (OLEDs), for photovoltaic components or in sensors, as an electrode material in batteries, as optical waveguides or for electrophotography applications.
L'invention concerne un copolymère de benzothiadiazol-cyclopentadithiophène comprenant, en tant que motif répété, le groupe de formule (I) dans lequel R représente un groupe n-hexadécyle ou 3,7-diméthyloctyle, et dont le poids moléculaire moyen en nombre Mn est compris dans l'intervalle de 30 à 70 kg/mol. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation des copolymères comme semi-conducteurs ou matériaux de transport de charge sous forme de transistors en couches minces (TCM) ou dans des composants semi-conducteurs pour diodes électroluminescentes organiques (DELO), pour des composants photovoltaïques ou dans des capteurs, comme matériau d'électrode dans des batteries, comme guides d'onde optiques ou pour des applications électrophotographiques.
