The inventive device for digital dental radiography has a source of X- radiation, a detector device, a correcting device and a temperature control device. Said detector device consists of a CCD array on which a scintillator layer is arranged and the radiation geometry of the detector device is constant in relation to the source of X-radiation. The correcting device corrects the electrical signals generated by the CCD array by compensating fluctuations in the electrical signals of the individual elements of the CCD array caused by a dark current of said array elements, by the array elements having different degrees of conversion efficiency and by the inhomogeneity of the scintillator layer. The temperature control device ensures that the detector device remains at a constant temperature during the detection of reference signals and image signals.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de radiographie dentaire numérique comprenant une source de rayons X, un dispositif détecteur, un dispositif de correction et un dispositif de commande de température. Le dispositif détecteur, constitué d'un ensemble CCD doté d'une couche de scintillateur, possède une géométrie de rayonnement constante en ce qui concerne la source de rayons X. Le dispositif de correction compense les variations des signaux électriques des différents éléments de l'ensemble CCD, dues à un courant d'obscurité de ce dernier, à un rendement de transformation différencié de ce dernier et à la non homogénéité de la couche de scintillateur, en vue de corriger les signaux électriques produits par l'ensemble CCD. Le dispositif de commande de température sert à garder le dispositif détecteur à une température constante pendant la détection de signaux de référence et de signaux d'image.
