Protective sports eyeglasses with buffer and shock-absorbing function include a cushion (3) having a hollow sealed portion. The cushion encloses a tubular space and is attached on an annular edge of a lens (1) positioned adjacent to the face of a wearer so as to conform to the curvature of the wearer's face. The pressure within the tubular space is preset in advance so that the cushion may contact closely and comfortably to the face of a wearer while acting as a buffer and shock-absorber.

Cette invention se rapporte à des lunettes protectrices conçues pour le sport qui assurent une fonction de protection et d'amortissement et comportent un coussin (3) pourvu d'une partie creuse hermétique. Ledit coussin renferme un espace tubulaire et est fixé à un bord annulaire d'un verre (1) positionné à proximité du visage d'un utilisateur de façon à épouser exactement la courbure du visage dudit utilisateur. La pression au sein de l'espace tubulaire est préétablie par avance de façon que le coussin entre, de manière confortable, en contact intime avec le visage de l'utilisateur tout en jouant le rôle d'amortisseur et de dispositif de protection.
