The invention relates to a press (1) for producing essentially rectangular bales (27) of harvested agricultural produce (9). The press is configured in such a way that the baling chamber (15) can be moved approximately horizontally in a straight line between an upper and a lower conveyor (13; 14), said conveyors (13; 14) delimiting the inside of the baling chamber (15) at the top and bottom, the baling chamber being circumscribed by longitudinal and transversal walls (18; 19; 20). The conveying direction of the conveyors always corresponds to the direction of motion of the baling chamber (15) and changes when the direction of motion of the baling chamber changes. The feed opening (16) is configured in the bottom conveyor (14) between two sub- conveyors (14a; 14b) and in the return of motion positions of the baling chamber, is connected to the inside of said baling chamber (15), in the vicinity of the respective adjacent transverse side wall (19; 20). At least one transverse side wall (20) can be moved out of the closing position in which it delimits the inside of the baling chamber (15), into an open position in which it frees an ejection opening for a bale (27).
L'invention concerne une presse (1) destinée à la mise en bottes (27) de produits de récolte (9), les bottes étant sensiblement rectangulaires. Cette presse est conçue de telle façon que la chambre de presse (15) se déplace de façon approximativement horizontale sur un trajet linéaire entre un transporteur supérieur et un transporteur inférieur (13; 14). Les transporteurs (13; 14) délimitent le haut et le bas de l'espace interne de la chambre de pression (15) définie par des parois latérales longitudinales et transversales (18; 19; 20). La direction de transport des transporteurs (13; 14) correspond toujours à la direction de déplacement de la chambre de presse (15) et change lorsque le sens de déplacement de la chambre de presse (15) change. L'ouverture de chargement (16) est pratiquée dans le transporteur inférieur (14) entre deux transporteurs partiels (14a; 14b) et communique avec l'espace interne de la chambre de presse (15) dans les positions d'inversion de mouvement de la chambre de presse (15), à proximité de la paroi latérale transversale (19; 20) adjacente respective. Au moins une paroi latérale transversale (20) peut être déplacée de sa position de fermeture dans laquelle elle délimite l'espace interne de la chambre de presse (15) et amenée dans une position d'ouverture dans laquelle elle libère une ouverture destinée à l'éjection d'une botte (27).
