An overhead sectional garage door (10) has a plurality of hinged sections or panels (14) having rollers (16) mounted thereon for movement of the door (10) between open and closed positions. A stiffener (39) is secured to each door section (14) and extends horizontally between opposed sides of the associated door section (14). Each stiffener (39) has a horizontal body (38), an inner vertical mounting flange (41), and an outer bowed flange (42). Vertical mounting flange (41) and bowed flange (42) have free edges and respective beads or curls (44, 46) are formed thereon for stiffening of flanges (41) and (42).
L'invention concerne une porte basculante de garage en sections (10) présentant une pluralité de sections ou panneaux articulé(e)s comprenant des cylindres (16) montés de manière à déplacer la porte (10) entre des positions ouverte et fermée. Une pièce de renfort (39) est fixée au niveau de chaque section (14) de porte et s'étend horizontale entre les côtés opposés de la section (14) de porte associée. Chaque pièce de renfort (39) comprend un corps horizontal (38), un rebord montant intérieur vertical (41) et un rebord courbé extérieur (42). Le rebord montant vertical (41) et le rebord courbé (42) présentent des bords libres et des extrémités rentrées (44, 46) sont formées en ce point pour renforcer les rebords (41, 42).
