It is intended to provide a preparation for oral administration which comprises a drug-containing layer and a functional layer and by which the drug- containing layer can be prevented from cracking or chipping even in the case where the drug-containing layer contains glycerol in such an amount as causing no leakage of the drug-containing layer from the edge of the preparation for oral preparation. To achieve this object, polyvinylpyrrolidone having a K value of 70 or above is added as a base to the drug-containing layer.
