The invention relates to a water-resistant mascara composition that has a high water content. The inventive mascara composition contains an oil phase comprising a liquid ester, an oil, or a mixture thereof, 1 to 50 percent by weight of a silicon-based film-forming agent, 1 to 10 percent by weight of a gel-forming agent selected among fatty acid esters, glycol derivatives, or mixtures thereof, 1 to 50 percent by weight of substances selected among pigments, powders, fillers, and mixtures thereof, an aqueous phase comprising 42 to 75 percent by weight of water, 0.1 to 10 percent by weight of a surfactant, and other carrier substances, auxiliary agents, active substances, or mixtures thereof until reaching 100 percent by weight. Said composition contains no wax and no hydrocarbon solvent.
Composition de mascara résistant à l'eau, qui possède en même temps une forte teneur en eau. Selon la présente invention, ladite composition de mascara contient une phase huileuse comportant un ester liquide, une huile ou un mélange de ces substances, 1 à 50 % en poids d'un agent filmogène à base de silicone, 1 à 10 % en poids d'un gélifiant choisi parmi les esters d'acide gras, les dérivés de glycol ou des mélanges de ces substances, 1 à 50 % en poids de substances choisies parmi les pigments, les poudres, les matières de charge ou des mélanges de ces substances, une phase aqueuse contenant 42 à 75 % en poids d'eau, 0,1 à 10 % en poids d'un tensioactif, ainsi que d'autres excipients, adjuvants, principes actifs ou mélanges de ces substances jusqu'à 100 % en poids, ladite composition ne contenant ni cire, ni solvants à base d'hydrocarbures.
