The invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for concentrating liquid- drenched material while forming a string of material (25) embraced by straining cloth and terminating concentration of the material with said material covered with said cloth (1, 2) by rolling the material with said material located between outwardly spread, single sheets (1, 2; 1, 33) of straining cloth. For enclosing the string of material (25) two endless straining belts (1, 2) are used, neither of which has a width sufficient to fully embrace said string of material and of which one belt (2) is narrower than the other belt (1), wherein the longitudinally extending edge parts (21, 22) of the broader belt are caused to overlap the longitudinally extending edge parts of the narrower belt (2). Subsequent to initially concentating the material, the broader belt (1) is spread out into a single sheet and also used during the remainder of the concentrating process.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un appareil pour concentrer un matériau douché avec du liquide tout en formant une corde de matériau (25) entouré par du tissu tamis et terminer la concentration du matériau avec ledit matériau couvert dudit tissu (1, 2) en calendrant le matériau avec ledit matériau situé entre les feuilles prises une à une étendues vers l'extérieur (1, 2; 1, 33) du tissu tamis. Pour enfermer la corde de matériau (25) il y a utilisation de deux courroies tamis sans fin (1, 2) dont aucune des deux n'a une largeur suffisante pour entourer totalement ladite corde de matériau et dont l'une des courroies (2) est plus étroite que l'autre courroie (1). En outre, la partie du bord se présentant selon le sens de la longueur (21, 22) de la courroie la plus large est amenée à chevaucher la partie du bord se présentant selon le sens de la longueur de la courroie la plus étroite (2). Après avoir concentré initialement le matériau, la courroie la plus large (1) est étendue en une seule feuille et également utilisée pendant le restant du traitement de concentration.
