The invention relates to an electromagnetic valve for a vehicle gas cylinder, said valve comprising: a valve body (4); an external thread section of the valve body, that can be screwed into an internal thread on the gas cylinder; a section of the valve body (4) protruding into the gas cylinder; a shut-off piston (31); and electromagnetic control elements (25, 28, 29) which can be used to displace the shut-off piston (31) from a conducting position into a closed position. The valve body (4) comprises a cavity (15) for receiving the shut-off piston (31) and the control elements (25, 28, 29), said cavity being located inside the thread section and/or in the section of the valve body (4) protruding into the gas cylinder. In order to simplify the disassembly and assembly of one such valve, the mouth of the cavity (15) is arranged on the head end of the valve body (4) located outside the gas cylinder. The shut-off piston (31) and the electromagnetic control elements (25, 28, 29) can be inserted into the cavity (15) through the mouth thereof.

L'invention concerne une soupape électromagnétique destinée à un réservoir à gaz de véhicule, comportant un corps de soupape (4); un filet extérieur du corps de soupape, pouvant être vissé dans un filet intérieur du réservoir à gaz; une section du corps de soupape (4) faisant saillie dans le réservoir à gaz; un piston d'arrêt (31); et des éléments de commande électromagnétiques (25, 28, 29) permettant d'amener le piston d'arrêt (31) d'une position de passage vers une position de fermeture. Le corps de soupape? ¿(4) comporte une cavité (15) destinée à la réception du piston d'arrêt et des éléments de commande (25, 28, 29), ladite cavité étant disposée dans la partie filetée et/ou dans la partie du corps de soupape (4) faisant saillie dans le réservoir à gaz. Pour simplifier le démontage et le montage d'une soupape, la cavité (15) aboutit sur l'extrémité de tête du corps de soupape (4) située en-dehors du réservoir à gaz. Le piston d'arrêt (31) et les éléments de commande électromagnétiques (25, 28, 29) peuvent être introduits dans la cavité (15) par l'intermédiaire de cette embouchure.
