An optical disc accommodation device is provided, which permits an optical disc to be taken out and accommodated very quickly and readily with a single hand by a driver driving a vehicle as well as permitting very quick and ready take-out and accommodation of optical disc in home or office. The device comprises a box-like casing and an optical disc holder accommodated in the box-like casing while carrying an optical disc. The box-like casing includes an accommodating part which can movably accommodate the optical disc holder and a lid hinged to one side of the accommodating part for opening and closing the same. One side of it has an opening for inserting optical disc therethrough. A spring is provided between the optical disc holder and accommodating part to bias the optical disc holder in a direction of projection from the opening. Locking means is provided, which includes a locking portion provided on the optical disc holder and a raised portion provided on the inner surface of the accommodating part, the optical disc holder being locked with the raised portion by the locking member when the optical disc holder is pushed away from the opening. The outer surface of the accommodating part is provided with lock release means for releasing the lock of the optical disc holder by the locking means and causing the optical disc holder to project from the opening.

Cette invention concerne un boîtier pour disque optique qui permet de prendre et de ranger très rapidement et aisément un disque, en ne se servant que d'une main au volant. L'objet de l'invention présente les mêmes avantages à la maison ou au bureau. Il s'agit d'un réceptacle en forme de boîte à l'intérieur duquel est ménagé un logement porte-disque mobile et qui comporte un couvercle monté à charnières sur un de ses côtés. Un autre côté du boîtier présente une ouverture par laquelle insérer le disque optique. Un ressort disposé entre le porte-disque et la paroi du boîtier a pour fonction de pousser le porte-disque dans la direction de l'ouverture précitée. Le boîtier comporte également un moyen de verrouillage formé d'un bec de blocage sur le porte-disque et d'un ergot sur la face intérieure du boîtier, le porte-disque étant retenu à l'intérieur du boîtier par l'ergot qui s'enclenche dans le bec correspondant lorsqu'on pousse le porte-disque vers l'intérieur. La surface extérieure du boîtier comporte un moyen de déverrouillage permettant de libérer le porte-disque qui est automatiquement repoussé à l'extérieur du boîtier par le ressort prévu à cette fin.
