The invention relates to a method for the production of a double-chamber hollow profile (2, 30). The walls (9, 10, 14, 15, 27, 28) of the chambers (11, 12) are connected together in a single-piece. A tubular-shaped hollow profile blank (1) comprising a single cavity (3) is used and the blank (1) is arched to form two partial branches (5, 6, 23, 26) which extend in an at least approximately parallel manner in relation to each other, in order to reliably produce a double chamber hollow profile (2, 30) in a relatively simple manner. The thus arched blank (1) is inserted into an internal high pressure forming tool until the walls (9, 10, 27, 28) of the partial branches (5, 6, 23, 26), which are oriented towards each other, adjoin each other by means of a liquid internal high pressure and the remaining walls (14, 15) adjoin the engraving of the forming tool and the blank is expanded into a final shape of the hollow profile (2, 30).
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un profilé creux à deux chambres (2, 30), les parois (9, 10, 14, 15, 27, 28) des chambres (11, 12) étant reliées de façon monopièce. L'invention vise à permettre une fabrication simple et sure dudit profilé creux à deux chambres (2, 30). A cet effet, on emploie une ébauche de profilé creux tubulaire (1) comportant une seule cavité (3) et on courbe cette ébauche (1) sous forme de deux barres partielles (5, 6, 23, 26) essentiellement parallèles. L'ébauche (1) ainsi courbée est introduite dans un outil de formage à haute pression intérieure et évasée par haute pression intérieure fluidique jusqu'à ce que les parois (9, 10, 27, 28) des barres partielles (5, 6, 23, 26) orientées les unes vers les autres entrent en contact et que les autres parois (14, 15) entrent en contact avec l'estampe de l'outil de formage, de manière à obtenir une forme finale du profilé creux (2, 30).
