Device (1,101,201,301) for milking an animal, such as a cow, comprising an animal standing area (O) to be occupied by the animal to be milked in a particular milking position and a robot device (10,110,210,310) with a robot arm assembly (20,120,220,320) for applying to and/or removing teat cups (22,122,222,322) from the respective udders of the animal, wherein the robot arm assembly at a distal end is provided with holding means (21,121,221,321) for the teat cups, wherein the robot arm assembly at a proximal end is suspended from a support (9,109,209,309) so as to extend downwards therefrom and is rotatable with respect thereto about a first centre line (S) which has a vertical direction component, wherein, in use, the first centre line intersects the floor (30,130,230,330) of the animal standing area (O).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif (1,101,201,301) pour la traite dun animal, par exemple une vache, comportant une zone pour un animal debout (O) destinée à être occupée par lanimal à traire dans une position de traite particulière et un dispositif robotique (10,110,210,310) avec un ensemble de bras robotique (20,120,220,320) pour le placement de gobelets-trayeurs aux mamelles (22,122,222,322) de lanimal et/ou leur retrait de celles-ci. Lensemble de bras robotique est muni à une extrémité distale de moyens de retenue (21,121,221,321) pour les gobelets-trayeurs, et à une extrémité proximale lensemble de bras robotique est suspendu depuis un support (9,109,209,309) pour se déployer vers le bas depuis celle-ci et être entraîné en rotation par rapport à celle-ci autour dun premier axe (S) qui présente une composante de direction verticale. Lors de lutilisation du dispositif, le premier axe croise le sol (30,130,230,330) de la zone où lanimal est debout (O).
