Description

An electrical box, suitable for mounting to a stud between opposing wallboards, has one side wall provided with an integral support member. Flanges are provided on the sidewall and on the support member, for abutting the inner and opposing faces of wallboards. This provides support against both pulling and pushing forces, without the need to mount a separate bracket.
