The invention relates to an image intensifier tube and a night vision system fitted with such a tube. The tube body of the image intensifier tube according to the invention comprises a multilayer ceramic substrate fixed in a sealed manner to the input device and to the output device so as to assure leaktightness of the vacuum chamber delimited by the tube body. The multilayer substrate also maintains a microchannel plate arranged between a photocathode and a phosphorus screen, and supplies voltage to the photocathode, the plate and the phosphorus screen.

L'invention concerne un tube intensificateur d'image et un système de vision nocturne doté d'un tel tube. Le corps de tube du tube intensificateur d'image selon l'invention comprend un substrat en céramique multicouche fixé de façon étanche au dispositif d'entrée et au dispositif de sortie de façon à assurer l'étanchéité de la chambre à vide délimitée par le corps du tube. Le substrat multicouche maintient également une plaque de microcanaux disposée entre une photocathode et un écran au phosphore, et fournit une tension à la photocathode, à la plaque et l'écran au phosphore.
