An in-vivo plasmapheresis and/or in-vivo ultrafiltration membrane comprises a plurality of elongated hollow fibers each fiber having an interior lumen extending along the fiber length, the fiber wall having a plurality of zones between the inner and outer wall surfaces, each of the zones having a mass density different than the mass density of an adjacent zone. L'invention concerne une membrane de plasmaphérèse et/ou d'ultrafiltration <i>in vivo</i> comprenant plusieurs fibres creuses allongées, chaque fibre possédant une lumière intérieure s'étendant sur la longueur de la fibre, la paroi de la fibre possédant plusieurs zones entre les surfaces de la paroi interne et externe, et chacune des zones possédant une densité de masse différente de la densité de masse d'une zone adjacente. La paroi de la fibre se caractérise par une zone de densité de masse inférieure au niveau de la surface de la paroi interne et une zone de densité de masse supérieure au niveau de la surface de la paroi externe.
