An electromagnetic accelerometer comprising a sensitive silicon portion with a movable weight (2) connected to a frame (3) via a suspension arm (80, 81). The sensitive silicon portion is secured to a motor (1) having so-called negative stiffness and including a stationary pole chamber (12) connected to the frame, a magnet (5), a coil (6) and a movable pole portion (14) inserted into the chamber (12) and secured to the movable weight (2). Said accelerometer is useful in geophones.

L'invention concerne un accéléromètre électromagnétique comportant une partie sensible en silicium avec une masse mobile (2) reliée à un cadre périphérique (3) via des bras de suspension (80,81). La partie sensible en silicium est solidaire d'un moteur (1) à raideur dite négative comprenant une enceinte polaire (12) fixe liée au cadre périphérique, un aimant (5), une bobine (6) et une partie polaire mobile (14) insérée dans l'enceinte (12), ladite partie polaire (14) étant solidaire de la masse mobile (2). Application: géophone.
