A system includes a computing device, a wireless computing unit and a network management arrangement ("NMA"). NMA receives first and second signals from the computing device, forwards the second signal to the unit and receives a third signal from the unit which is a receipt acknowledgment of the second signal. NMA determines a first time value ("TV") indicative of a difference between a time of receipt of the first signal and a time of receipt of the second signal. NMA compares first TV to a first threshold range ("TR") to generate a first output data ("OD") and determines a second TV indicative of a difference between a time of transmission of the second signal and a time of receipt of the third signal. NMA compares second TV to a second TR to generate second OD. NMA executes a response procedure as a function of first and/or second OD.
L'invention concerne un système comprenant un dispositif informatique, une unité informatique sans fil et un système de gestion de réseau ("NMA"). Le NMA reçoit des premier et deuxième signaux provenant du dispositif informatique, envoie le deuxième signal vers l'unité et reçoit un troisième signal provenant de l'unité qui est un accusé de réception du deuxième signal. Le NMA détermine une première valeur temporelle ("TV") indiquant une différence entre un temps de réception du premier signal et un temps de réception du deuxième signal.
