Abstract The subject matter of the present invention relates to an address sign of individually opaque numbered, especially for homes and other buildings, provided with permanent lighting equipment so that the sign is readable in day or night time conditions, from long distances and for a localized area such as a home entrance. The numbers are individually fixed at a certain distance on a wall surface which a small light bulb is disposed in each of the numbers to illuminate a perimeter on the wall surface, providing to the numbers a higher contrast with the background surface for easy reading at night time. The light bulb is energized from an alternative current power source which each individual opaque number to be installed is connected in parallel with a male outlet and female add on inlet.
