PRECIS DE DIVULGATION L'invention concerne un amortisseur-vérin comportant un corps cylindrique et une tige creuse à piston annulaire. Conformément à l'invention, le corps cylin- drique comporte un piston séparateur délimitant deux chambres de fluide hydraulique dont l'une communique par l'intermé- diaire d'un distributeur avec le circuit hydraulique de l'aérodyne, ce distributeur étant automatiquement fermé en fin de descente de l'atterrisseur ; la chambre annulaire communique par un second distributeur avec ce circuit hydraulique. Les distributeurs permettent ainsi de commander l'extension et la rétraction de l'amortisseur-vérin. De plus, un moyen d'écrêtage d'efforts est agencé dans une extension s'étendant au-delà d'un fond du corps formant l'une des butées du piston séparateur. FIGURE 1D
