A pharmaceutical formulation of compounds with low aqueous solubility and method of manufacture thereof. The formulation may include a pharmacologically active compound having low aqueous solubility and starch in the amount of greater than about (25) weight percent. A manufacturing method may include blending the active compound and starch, compressing the blend into a solid, comminuting the solid into granules, wetting the granules, drying the granules, and tabletting the dried granules to make a solid pharmaceutical formulation.
L'invention concerne une formulation pharmaceutique de composés ayant une faible solublité aqueuse et leur procédé de production. Cette formulation peut contenir un composé pharmaceutiquement actif ayant une faible solubilité aqueuse et une quantité supérieure à environ 20 pourcent en poids d'amidon. Un procédé de production peut comporter le mélange du composé actif et d'amidon, la compression du mélange en solide, la fragmentation du solide en granulés, l'humidification des granulés, le séchage des granulés et le moulage en comprimés des granulés séchés pour obtenir une formulation pharmaceutique solide.
