This invention provides an adaptor for shafts of conveyor belt rollers enabling rollers having shafts with diameters less than a particular standard to be used with cradles designed to support a particular standard diameter roller shaft. The adaptor is in the form of a partially blind sleeve having a flange at each of its ends. The sleeves flank a central cylindrical region having a diameter equal to the diameter of a shaft used with a particular cradle. In use an adaptor is slid over each end of a conveyor roller shaft and the cylindrical region of each adaptor is located in the cradle. The adaptor is injection moulded from an electrically conductive synthetic plastics material.
