In a first embodiment an electric toothbrush (1) having a housing containing an electric motor (27), the motor being drivingly connected (14, 17) to a first brush head (4) rotatably mounted on an end of the toothbrush remote from the motor and adjacent to at least one other rotatable brush head (5). In a second embodiment a packaged electric toothbrush (1) includes a "try me" facility (7) for remotely testing the operation of the toothbrush, which "try me" feature comprises a two-sided metal strip (23) such an aluminium foil, separated by a dielectric material, respective sides of the strip being connected at one end to respective circuitry parts (24) used to operate the electric toothbrush and the other end of the strip being folded over and including a centrally disposed aperture onto which is a bendable metal connector (29, 30) such that upon bending or pressing of the connector the two sides of the strip are electrically connected together to temporarily operate the toothbrush whilst still in its packaging.
Dans un premier mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne une brosse à dents électrique (1) présentant un logement contenant un moteur électrique (27), le moteur étant relié en entraînement (14, 17) à une première tête de brosse (4) montée rotative sur une extrémité de la brosse à dents à distance du moteur et adjacente à au moins une autre tête de brosse rotative (5). Dans un second mode de réalisation, une brosse à dents électrique emballée (1) comprend une fonction d'"essai" (7) permettant d'éprouver à distance le fonctionnement de la brosse à dents, laquelle caractéristique d'"essai" comprend un ruban métallique double face (23) tel qu'un ruban d'aluminium, séparé par un matériau diélectrique, les faces respectives du ruban étant connectées au niveau d'une extrémité à des parties de circuit respectives (24) utilisées pour faire fonctionner la brosse à dents électrique et l'autre extrémité du ruban étant repliée et présentant une ouverture centrale sur laquelle se trouve un connecteur métallique pliable (29, 30), de telle sorte que lors du pliage ou de la pression exercée sur le connecteur, les deux faces du ruban sont connectées électriquement ensemble pour faire fonctionner temporairement la brosse à dents, alors qu'elle se trouve toujours dans son emballage.
