Described herein is a method for forming a closed toe in a tubular knitted article, for example a sock, comprising the steps of: setting two end flaps (L1, L2) of the article (M) alongside one another; inserting, inside the loops of at least one first row (X2) of stitches of the flaps set alongside one another, a comb-like structure comprising a plurality of teeth (85); sewing (C) together the loops of at least one second row of stitches, which is set between the first row of stitches (X2) and the body of the tubular article (M); and opening the loops of the first row of stitches.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de former une pointe fermée dans un article tubulaire tricoté, par exemple une mi-chaussette. Ledit procédé consiste à placer deux rabats d'extrémité (L1, L2) de l'article (M) l'un sur l'autre; à introduire, dans les boucles d'au moins une première rangée (X2) de points des rabats placés l'un de l'autre, une structure de type peigne comprenant une pluralité de dents (85); à coudre (C) ensemble les boucles d'au moins une seconde rangée de points installée entre la première rangée de points (X2) et le corps de l'article tubulaire (M); et à ouvrir les boucles de ladite première rangée de points.
