The invention provides an in vitro method for predicting whether a patient would be responsive to a treatment with a TNF.alpha. blocking agent, which method comprises determining the expression level of eight genes in a biological sample of said patient, wherein said genes are EPS15, HLA-DPB1, AKAP9, RASGRP3, MTCBP-1, PTNP12, MRPL22 and RPS28. The invention further provides a DNA chip for performing such method.

L'invention concerne un procédé in vitro destiné à prédire si un patient est susceptible de répondre à un traitement par un agent bloquant le TNF.alpha.. Le procédé consiste à déterminer le niveau d'expression de huit gènes dans un échantillon biologique dudit patient, lesdits gènes étant les EPS15, HLA-DPB1, AKAP9, RASGRP3, MTCBP-1, PTNP12, MRPL22 et RPS28. L'invention concerne en outre une puce à ADN permettant la mise en AEuvre dudit procédé.
