The object of the invention is a continuous method for charging and discharging carbonization furnaces (15) moving in a circle, in which method the charging and the discharging are effected in a closed process mainly simultaneously at the opposite ends of the furnace, and the gases are collected and cleaned. Another object of the invention is an apparatus for implementing the method. The equipment comprises carbonization furnaces (15) moving in a circle, a charging device (11, 14, 32), and a discharging device (18, 19), and at least one gas duct for each furnace, the duct being connected at the one end thereof to the furnace and at the other end to a gas collector. According to the invention, the charging device is docked in a gas-tight manner to the end of the furnace by means of a docking device (35), and the discharging device is attached in a gas-tight manner to the other end of the furnace for charging and discharging mainly at the same time.
L'invention concerne un procédé continu de chargement et de déchargement de fours de carbonisation (15) se déplaçant dans un cercle, selon lequel le chargement et le déchargement s'effectuent dans un procédé en circuit fermé, en grande partie simultanément aux extrémités opposées du four, et les gaz sont recueillis et épurés. L'invention concerne par ailleurs un appareil permettant de mettre ledit procédé en oeuvre. Le matériel comprend des fours de carbonisation (15) se déplaçant dans un cercle, un dispositif de chargement (11, 14, 32) et un dispositif de déchargement (18, 19), ainsi qu'au moins un carneau à gaz pour chaque four, ledit carneau étant raccordé à une extrémité au four et à l'autre extrémité, au collecteur de gaz. Selon l'invention, le dispositif de chargement est accouplé de manière étanche aux gaz à une des extrémités du four à l'aide d'un dispositif d'accouplement (35), le dispositif de déchargement étant quant à lui accouplé de manière étanche aux gaz à l'autre extrémité du four, ce, afin de pouvoir charger et décharger le four en grande partie au même moment.
