A blow moulded containerhas a bodyportion (12) defining a chamber for storing liquid and a neck portion (14) extending from the body portion. The body- portion defines a centrallongitudinal axis and said neck portion is coaxial therewith. The body portion defines a upper shoulder region of curved profileand the neck portion defines a circular cylindricalportion having side walls concentric with and parallel to said centrallongitudinal axis. Thelower end of the cylindrical portion defines a closed loop (20) and has a non-planar intersection with the shoulder region of the body portion.
