There is described a medicament delivery device (1) which comprises a medicament reservoir (2), a medicament delivery passage (3) and a metering member (4) adapted to transfer a measured dose of medicament from the medicament reservoir to the delivery passage characterised in that the device is provided with a moisture proof barrier (9). The medicament delivery device is especially suited for use as an inhaler. There is therefore also decribed an inhaler which provides improved airflow for the dispersion of medicament, and a method of treating patients suffering from a respiratory disorder.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'administration de médicament comprenant un réservoir de médicament, un conduit d'administration du médicament et un élément de mesure conçu afin de transférer une dose mesurée de médicament depuis le réservoir jusqu'au conduit, caractérisée en ce que le dispositif est doté d'une séparation étanche à l'humidité. Le dispositif d'administration de médicament convient tout spécialement comme inhalateur. L'invention concerne donc aussi un inhalateur permettant d'obtenir un débit d'air amélioré pour la dispersion du médicament, ainsi qu'une méthode de soin de patients souffrant de trouble respiratoire.
