A locking mechanism comprising a socket and a body member slidably received in an opening in the socket; the socket or body member having an engageable member for exerting a bias against the other member when the body member is slid-ably received in the socket, the other member having a first set of channels comprising a first longitudinally disposed channel for receiving the engageable member when the body member is received in the socket, a second longitudinally disposed channel dis-posed parallel to the first channel spaced from the first channel, and a transverse channel connecting the first and second channels, the first channel terminating in a locking area having a depth greater than a depth of the first channel immediately adjacent the locking area, of the second channel.
L'invention porte sur un mécanisme de verrouillage qui comporte une douille et un élément de corps reçu de façon coulissante dans une ouverture dans la douille ; la douille ou l'élément de corps présente un élément pouvant être mis en prise pour exercer une sollicitation contre l'autre élément lorsque l'élément de corps est reçu de façon coulissante dans la douille, l'autre élément ayant un premier ensemble de canaux comportant un premier canal disposé longitudinalement pour recevoir l'élément pouvant être mis en prise lorsque l'élément de corps est reçu dans la douille, un second canal disposé longitudinalement, disposé parallèle au premier canal et espacé du premier canal, et un canal transversal reliant les premier et second canaux, le premier canal se terminant dans une zone de verrouillage ayant une profondeur supérieure à une profondeur du premier canal immédiatement adjacent à la zone de verrouillage du second canal.
