A conveyor with a frame (8) supports a carrier device (32, 34) for load, the conveyor being supported by motor-driven wheels to effect a travelling movement along a predetermined track (14, 16) and/or the carrier device being movably supported in relation to the frame of the conveyor. Sensors are arranged to contactlessly detect the position of the conveyor on the track of travel (14, 16) in relation to a predetermined reference position and/or the position of the carrier device (32, 34) in relation to a reference position on the conveyor frame (8) and to deliver a corresponding train of pulses, each pulse corresponding to a certain distance of movement, for determining the position of the conveyor and/or carrier device by counting pulses.
L'invention concerne une bande transporteuse pourvue d'un cadre (8) portant un dispositif de support (32, 34) de charge, la bande transporteuse étant supportée par des roues entraînées par un moteur, de façon à effectuer un déplacement le long d'un chemin (14, 16) prédéterminé, et/ou le dispositif de support étant supporté de manière mobile par rapport au cadre de la bande transporteuse. Des détecteurs sont disposés de manière à détecter, sans contact, sur le chemin de déplacement (14, 16), la position de la bande transporteuse par rapport à une position de référence prédéterminée, et/ou la position du dispositif de support (32, 34) par rapport à une position de référence sur le cadre (8) de la bande transporteuse. Les détecteurs sont également disposés de manière à fournir un train d'impulsions correspondant, chaque impulsion correspondant à une certaine distance de déplacement, de façon à déterminer la position de la bande transporteuse et/ou du dispositif de support par comptage des impulsions.
