The invention relates to an imager, particularly for detecting X-rays, having a sensor (14) sensitive to radiation. The sensor (14) is enclosed in a housing (12) comprising a radiation-permeable inlet window (18) and a cable outlet for a cable ar-rangement (22) coupled to the sensor (14). The inlet window (18) comprises a fiber insert (31) embedded in a plastic matrix (33). The invention is used for imaging methods.

Le capteur (14) est entouré dun boîtier (12) qui présente une fenêtre dentrée (18) laissant passer le rayonnement ainsi quune sortie de câbles pour un ensemble de câbles (22) couplé au capteur (14). La fenêtre dentrée (18) comprend une âme textile (31) noyée dans une matrice en matière plastique (33). Linvention concerne également l'utilisation de cet enregistreur pour des procédés dimagerie.
