In the compounds, at least 10 mol% of alkyl-substituted diaminodiphenylmethane groups, relative to the total amount of diamine radicals in the polyamide and polyimide blocks, are co-condensed. The uncrosslinked compounds are soluble in dipolar, aprotic solvents.
