The invention relates to medicine, in particular to pharmacology and therapy. According to the invention method of stimulating endogenous production of cytokine and hemopoietic factors comprising introducing to a mammalian body in need of stimulation of cytokine or hemopoietic factor or both, an effective amount of oxidized glutathione, its pharmaceutically acceptable salt form, or/and its pharmaceutically acceptable derivative, for a period of time to stimulate said endogenous production to obtain a therapeutic effect, wherein said oxidized glutathione, or/and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt form, or/and its pharmaceutically acceptable derivative is introduced parenterally or topically. According to the invention, oxidized glutathione or/and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt form, or/and its pharmaceutically acceptable derivative is introduced along with an extender of the half life of said oxidized glutathione or/and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt form, or/and its pharmaceutically acceptable derivative.

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de la médecine, et plus particulièrement à celui de la pharmacologie et des thérapies. Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant de stimuler la production endogène de cytokine et de facteurs hémopoiétiques, lequel procédé consiste à administrer, dans le corps d'un mammifère chez lequel on doit stimuler la production de cytokine ou de facteur hémopoiétique, ou encore des deux, une quantité suffisante pour être efficace de glutathion oxydé, d'une de ses formes sel acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique, et/ou d'un de ses dérivés acceptables sur le plan pharmaceutique. Cette administration se fait pendant une durée suffisante pour stimuler la dite production endogène et obtenir ainsi un effet thérapeutique, le glutathion oxydé et/ou sa forme sel acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique et/ou son dérivé acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique étant introduits de manière parentérale ou topique. D'après cette invention, le glutathion oxydé et/ou sa forme sel acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique et/ou son dérivé acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique sont introduits avec un agent permettant d'allonger leurs demi-vies.
