On injecte dans la formation un premier mélange comportant une substance polymérisable et un premier constituant d'un système catalytique indispensable au contrôle de la réaction de polymérisation. On injecte un second mélange comportant une phase gazeuse et un deuxième constituant dudit système catalytique. La circulation de la phase gazeuse maintient substantiellement la perméabilité de la formation pendant la réaction de polymérisation.
