A one-piece tubular snap-in electrical connector (20) for connecting electrical cables to junction boxes. The connector (20) is formed from an elastic material and includes tangs (30, 32) projecting outwardly from the tubular body (22) which function to lock the forward end in a junction box and cause the connector to be grounded to the junction box. Inward projecting tangs (36) on the opposite end of the connector (20) are spaced to anchor successive helixes on a helically-wound cable. The ends of the inward projecting tangs (36) force an inserted cable to be channeled against one inner wall of the tubular body (22) and resist rearward movement of the cable once it is thus inserted.
L'invention concerne un connecteur (20) électrique encliquetable, tubulaire, monobloc destiné à connecter des câbles électriques à des boîtiers de raccordement. Le connecteur (20), en matériau élastique, comporte des ergots (30, 32) dépassant du corps tubulaire (22), ce qui permet de verrouiller son extrémité avant dans le boîtier de raccordement, et donc de mettre le connecteur à la terre via le boîtier de raccordement. Des ergots (36) dépassant intérieurement, situés sur l'extrémité opposée du connecteur (20), sont espacés de manière à ancrer des hélices successives sur un câble hélicoïdal. Les extrémités des ergots (36) dépassant intérieurement permettent de contraindre le câble inséré à être plaqué contre une paroi intérieure du corps tubulaire (22) et d'empêcher tout mouvement arrière du câble une fois inséré de la sorte.
