In general, it is difficult to cook large roasts or fowl on a home barbecue rotisserie. A simple shroud for elevating a rotisserie above a barbecue includes a pair of end walls with brackets for supporting the rotisserie, and two pairs of L-shaped panels defining side walls. The top and bottom edges of one end wall and one pair of panels are bent over to form tracks for receiving the ends of the other end wall and the other pair of panels to form a rectangular frame, the dimensions of which can easily be adapted to a variety of barbecues. Alternatively, slots defining tracks are provided in the end walls and in one pair of panels for slidably receiving pins on the other panels, so that the dimensions of the frame can readily be adjusted.
