A drug delivery device (1) is provided which comprises a housing (2), a dispensing end (3) for dispensing a drug (7) from the drug delivery device, a flexible container (6) for holding the drug, the flexible container comprising an outlet (8), the outlet being connected to the dispensing end, and a squeezing member (11) for squeezing the flexible container, wherein, for dispensing a dose of the drug from the drug delivery device, the squeezing member and the flexible container are axially displaceable relative to one another, the squeezing member rotating with respect to the housing during the relative axial displacement and squeezing the flexible container, thereby urging the dose of the drug from the container through the outlet. Furthermore, using a rotatable roll in a drug delivery device is described.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de distribution de médicament (1) qui comprend un boîtier (2), une extrémité de distribution (3) pour la distribution d'un médicament (7) à partir du dispositif, un récipient flexible (6) contenant le médicament, et comportant une sortie (8) reliée à l'extrémité de distribution, et un élément de compression (11) pour comprimer le récipient flexible. Afin de distribuer une dose de médicament à partir du dispositif, il est possible de déplacer l'un par rapport à l'autre l'élément de compression et le récipient flexible, de façon axiale, l'élément de compression effectuant une rotation par rapport au boîtier durant ce déplacement axial et comprimant le récipient flexible, ce qui a pour effet de précipiter la dose de médicament hors du récipient par la sortie décrite. On décrit en outre l'utilisation d'un cylindre rotatif dans un tel dispositif de distribution de médicament.
