The cord-type grass-cutting head comprises a container (3, 4) having arranged inside it at least-one reel (5) of cutting cord (F), the ends of which emerge from holes in said container, and operating means for controlled unwinding of said cord from said reel, which means comprise a sliding actuating member (17, 19) projecting from said container, a slit being defined between the sliding member and the container. A flexible protective membrane (33) which covers said slit between the sliding member (17, 19) and said container (3, 4) is provided.
La tête de tondeuse à gazon du type à fil comprend un carter (3, 4) logeant au moins une bobine (5) de fil coupant (F) dont les bouts émergent de trous dans ledit carter, et un moyen de commande pour le déroulement contrôlé dudit fil de ladite bobine, ce moyen comprenant un élément d'actionnement coulissant (17, 19) faisant saillie sur ledit carter, une fente étant définie entre l'élément coulissant et le carter.
